Knicks vs. Heat: Game Notes (November 14, 2025)
The New York Knicks are set to host the Miami Heat at Madison Square Garden tonight, with tip-off scheduled for 7:00 PM ET. The game will be televised on Prime and broadcast on 98.7 ESPN.
The Knicks enter the contest following a 124-107 loss to the Orlando Magic, despite Jalen Brunson’s 31 points and six assists, and a double-double from Karl-Anthony Towns (15 points, 12 rebounds).
This matchup is a quick reunion, as the Knicks recently fell to the Heat 115-107 on October 26th. In that loss, Brunson led New York with 37 points. The Heat were paced by Norman Powell’s 27 points and Bam Adebayo’s 19 points and 13 rebounds.
The contest is rich with history. Heat President Pat Riley coached the Knicks from 1992-95, leading them to the 1994 NBA Finals. Furthermore, several players share ties: Towns, Adebayo, and Tyler Herro all played at Kentucky, while Towns and Heat forward Andrew Wiggins were teammates on the Timberwolves. Heat assistant coach Wayne Ellington also previously played for the Knicks.
An interesting historical note: on this date in 2005, the Knicks secured a 73-62 victory over the Utah Jazz, holding them to just 62 points, the lowest opponent total in the Knicks’ post-shot clock era.
